Restoring Africa’s
Green Lungs
Explore how two climate innovators are joining forces to restore Africa's "Green Lungs." In this webinar, Terraformation and Iroko Analytics will present the Iroko Restoration Project - Cameroon: a large-scale reforestation and agroforestry project in the Congo Basin rainforest.
The project aims to revive nearly 14,000 hectares of degraded land by planting over 17 million trees, including 2 million cacao trees, and introducing 28 native species for biodiversity recovery.
Learn how the project’s model is generating sustainable income and creating hundreds of jobs for local people, while ensuring the long-term permanence of the restored forests. This session is relevant for investors, carbon buyers, and environmental professionals interested in high-integrity climate and community impact.
